Job Title: Senior Reserve Specialist

Summary:

The Senior Reserve Specialist is responsible for developing and managing the reserve fund for a community association or other organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reserve planning principles and practices, as well as experience in preparing reserve studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the reserve fund for the organization

  • Prepare reserve studies

  • Conduct research on reserve planning best practices

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest reserve planning regulations and standards

  • Interact with board members, property managers, and other stakeholders

  • Provide financial advice and guidance on reserve planning matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in reserve planning

  • Strong understanding of reserve planning principles and practices

  • Experience in preparing reserve studies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional Reserve Specialist (RS) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
